Were he and his companion successful in their trips to the Serra do Roncador? 

The city of “Z” or as otherwise called Ibez  is connected with the Serra do Roncador  and means “deep breathing as in child birth” and could be named for the birth of the golden child that might be “El Do­rado”. I personally believe Ibez , for which Percy was searching, is situated in the Roncador  Mountains of the Mato Grosso.                                       Tom Welch

Timothy who was deeply involved with the disappearance of Colonel Fawcett and the theory of Ibez was Colonel Fawcett’s great nephew  who had different ideas and opinions from his uncle Brian (the youngest son of Fawcett) concerning the destiny of Percy Fawcett. Timothy was born in Ceylon and he was related to Percy from his wife who was from Nina’s side (Nina was Colonel Fawcett ’s wife). Unfortunately, Timothy, whose side of the family (the Patersons) were in a rift with Fawcett’s side, was never shown the secret papers (log books) of Colonel Fawcett that were hidden by his daughter and granddaughter so he was left to believe on the theory of Udo Oscar Luckner  having it as the only option towards the progress in his researches.

He wrote a book narrating the epic spirituals and physics of his uncle Percy in the search of the Shamballa. He had also found the Monastério Teúrgico  during his expeditions in the territory saying that it is not easy at all for someone to find the road occult to the Hollow Earth . He also believed that "uncle Percy" was and still is alive in body or in spirit in this underground world of “Z” at Roncador . In his frequent trips into the Caves of Roncador  Timothy Paterson  was accompanied by his friend and companion Tom Welch  who was almost 10 years older than him.

One of the rituals, Tom said to me, was asking individually for the help we needed personally to carry out the tasks in this life we had chosen, which I felt was rather impressive. I spent two days and a disturbed night in them with Timothy very bitten by mosquitoes, diarrhea and by the psychic aspects! Carrying out therein healings and rituals to contact the underground world with a group focalized by the Indian woman and close friend of ours Deusinha who believed that those down there were all of the Inca  past-lives origins and were also the underground world and Percy Fawcett ’s guardians, particularly herself…

These supposed Incas or their predecessors, Tom continued, had evidently originally, as they told me, been in a group that had moved eastward from Titicaca . The groups that moved towards the north of Titicaca are those who have more historical knowledge in our history books. The font of all these groups was evidently the islands of the Sun and Moon  on Lake Titicaca. Independently, there were other Inca  groups, which moved east and south of Titicaca towards Tiwanaku in the latter case and to the Peruvian coast in respect to the former.

We entered the cave area from the west after crossing with difficulty the Rio Das Mortes  (The River of Death) and the ferry broke down and delayed us for six hours and turning south there seemed geologically this area to be an interface of lava rock and limestone not unlike that which I had previously experienced and explored in Kenya.

One of the guardians who was trained and was the sexual partner of this very dominant woman Deusinha because of this landscape connection had called his farm named ‘Kenya’, which was to the east of the Roncador  and these caves were located some distance of 35 miles to the east of this farm (I believe from memory, they were 52° West, 13° South) in a small rocky range of hills and had a Portuguese sounding name similar to “St. Estramalda” or “St. Teressa” or something like that and I can put my hand on it in any large scale map on which the name is marked and I’ve seen it marked on a map like that once I had before I gave it to someone which was unusual as most of the maps are just blank space and the whole territory seemed to be uninhabited and closed to movement by the Brazilian authority.

Timothy told me not to go into the cave passages leading out of the large cathedral like cave, which contained stalagmites and were so beautiful so I took photos of them, otherwise I would never return. He similarly didn’t venture into these passages himself and all the times I traveled with him, he obviously had psychic contact with Percy Harrison Fawcett  who directed us.

In this cave we carried out Philippine type operations, which were quite extraordinary and effective prior to making contact with the underground world. I observed it all closely and attempted to suss out how valid the rituals, we were taking part in, were one of which was a psychic operation, which I observed from a distance of only 3 feet as a worm being removed from someone's liver who seemed cured afterwards and this operation was carried out by the Indian leader of the Inca  group and it was the most important one for me but others of the group passed out and had to be brought back to consciousness.

I also had this rare opportunity to inspect the rather disgusting worm later. That night in the cave Timothy was quite blown away by it all and got terrible diarrhea and I was very bitten by mosquitoes and disturbed as Timothy trampled over me trying to get outside the cave in time. When we left these caves, just Timothy and I, we moved over a very inhospitable apparently not very well known even now, scrub country after which we entered and crossed a swampy ground where at least felt vulnerable due to crocodiles!

It was also a relief to me when we eventually found a mud and after a graded road, being some 50 miles east of these caves, on which we turned south pretty bad tempered and exhausted using a car and our Brazilian driver had forgotten to put the caps on our reserve petrol and water and he later became drunk and the journey back to civilization through the night became a scary nightmare while dicing with death between heavy trucks with blazing head light and strident horns.

Timothy always used to say that those in the underground world were fully in another dimension but they also could be half physical in a kind of half-way condition and that the originators were from Venus  pre MU and Atlantis , and they had come to ‘Z’ to shelter from a cataclysm.

As far as I remember and understand it, Timothy also said that they were the original founders of Mu  and then pushed off and founded Atlantis  when Mu went down and then once more bugged out to ‘Z’ when Atlantis went down. Timothy connected this very much with the basalt figure that Percy Harrison Fawcett  took with him, which Timothy identified as himself. He did actually have a very facial expression.
